Engaged :: Lyndsey & Bryan

Its about time I post this wedding but first we need to see where it started.  Lyndsey is my cousin who from whenever I can remember we always had the same things.  Our grandma probably always wished she had twins in the family because although I'm 3 years older, she ALWAYS bought us the same things:  Clothes, toys, hair accessories, cakes...well we always had to share birthdays because we are three days apart.  So we were bitter toward each other but luckily with age, you learn to let things go and now are great friends!

When she asked me to shoot her wedding I was stoked.  I love having people who are completely comfortable with me making them do anything crazy just to get the reaction of love in each of their eyes.  Bryan has the most amazing smile and never lets it down and Lyndsey is a beautiful, strong women.  I know they bring out the best in each other!

Although it was raining the entire time you would never know!  We kept sitting on towels, fixing them so you couldn't see them and then hurry and shoot!  You guys were amazing and so much fun!  Thanks again :)

Burt & Arlene

Finally we had a couple days of good weather and I took full advantage of it! Burt & Arlene are some of our newest, closest friends - so who better to photograph ten people you know always have a good time! We headed over to a little park by my house for some engagement style pictures - five years too late!!!

Since Jordan and I bought our house in Lacey, I have driven by this park with the little lake at least once a week, if not more. And there are these two blue benches that have peaked my interest, especially from a photographers view. Bright blue benches in the greens and brown of nature completely intrigued me, therefore i HAD to have Burt and Arlene get some pictures with it, and they turned out just how I imagined - amazing!!

Burt and Arlene never had a wedding, but when they got married, the obviously got each other rings. Burt loves big things and never fails to have them for himself, so for their five year wedding anniversary they had a deal that it was Arlene's turn for something big - check out her amazing ring!

So since the sun was shining it was imperative to get some sunshine shots, and these next few images capture just that!

Thanks for being such great friends and great models!! It is so easy to capture love when it is always radiating from you! Love you guys!
