Newborn Portraits ::Emily Ana

A few days after Emily got settled into her home with momma and daddy, they came over for some newborn portraits of this little munch kin. It's amazing what 3 or 4 days does when they are so little, completely different and every time i see her it's a different face and different feature to notice.
She was so good once she was good and milk drunk and let us do whatever, once in a while giving a cry but soothing hands to her back calmed her down and on we went.

What better thing is there then 10 little toes?! When you touch them they clasp on, never letting go, just like you want their heart to do to the one who is "the one" in about 25 years from now. Wanting them to be just so little forever, but at the same time not being able to hold back from saying "I cant wait..." till you see them smile back at you, hear that sweet first word, watch them walk down the driveway looking back and smiling and hold ONE finger up for the first day of first grade. We always wish hurry time up, but looking back, always wishing those sweet times would last through every single stressful moments in life. But with those times that are worse they make you appreciate the good ones, the ones you remember forever, and thinking about them make you smile a giggle.
And the favorite...
OK or this one...
So happy to have you in this world Emily, and you have SO MUCH LOVE all around you already. I know your mom wants to savor every single moment, but I can't wait to see the girl you will be and the women you will become. You have some great parents and are so lucky to have so much support all around you!

Announcing :: Emily Ana

On March 15th we welcomed into the world my good friends little one, Miss Emily Ana. She couldn't have come more perfectly, although took awhile to decide to enter into this crazy world that we all call life.

I was so lucky to be right there to capture everything, it was so amazing and I hope to do many more delivery sessions. It is truly an experience like none other, watching someone enter into a world full of love and hope. I cannot believe it has been 2 months to the day, it feels like yesterday we were all watching the monitors at the hospital hoping the best for both baby and momma and daddy.

Congratulations Lacy and EZ, could not be more happy for the two of you and I love her so much, along with everyone else in your lives! She is so blessed to have so much love and support and that showed from day one. Thanks for letting me share and capture this experience with you, I hope these images capture everything you felt that day and looking at them brings you back to March 15th, 2010!
